Vocabulary:

2. Trattoria- a usually inexpensive or informal restaurant or cafe specializing in Italian dishes.(PG.43)

Figurative language
1." Because he was still horrified at the thought of his friends learning that he was playing intramural ball in Italy." They used figurative language in this by his friends not really bening horrified.

2. "Power I, lots of motion and misdirection."
Hes not really misdirected

3. " Great set of hands, great feet, great big ego." He doesn't really have great hands

The theme of the book now is Rick finding ways to communicate with the other players on the team and trying to learn every thing the Coach is telling him to do.
